House close to ROUILLON, close 10 minutes from Le MANS ( 24 hours CAR Race ) France
Our home is named Marine Terrace. it was the name of Victor Hugo's house in Jersey. This building doesn't exist anymore. As teacher in french litterature, I wanted to give a special feeling to our newbuilt home.
Our home is a nice country home, gustavian style decoration.
Very pleasant for a family with children ( with a cabane in the garden )
and close to the well-known town LE Mans ( 24 hours Car Race museum and circuit )
Close to Tours - Saumur ( castles of the Loire valley in 1 hour by car and the famous wineyards ) and Paris ( 55 minutes by TGV train) seaside also ( St Malo is 1hour and half by car or train )
We have done 29 exchanges, all sucessful and we met a lot of people in all Europ and some of them became very close friends.
We offer B&B during 24 hours car race ( in June) in return with a non simultaneous exchange as you wish.

About the neighborhood
Close to Rouillon (2 kms) and 6 minutes from downtown and railway station (very easy to drive to)
Close to 24 HOURS CAR RACE circuit ( 20 minutes) where children can drive karting carts. Nice swimmingpool and ice skating indoor (10 minutes), football indoor and a playground indoor too.
The old town is surrounding by famous roman walls and old wooden houses. You can appreciate many restaurants inside the old town.
You can buy all you need on markets close to the cathedral, 3 times a week. ( specialities and organic food and wine too)
From our home, you have a lot of paths to walk around, to do running or biking also (but it's a bit hilly)
About half an hour drive from home, you can do canoe and have swimming in lakes.
By train (TGV/ 55 minutes) you can go ( one day long) to Disneyland/Paris with a family return ticket.
We have nice neighbours to ask them for help or good ideas ( sites to visit, good restaurants)

Now we are only two people travelling with Intervac but we made already 30 exchanges, all sucessfull and around Europe.
Our 3 children don't travelled with us now but they are still interested in Intervac exchanges
Now we will be soon retired people ( 2018/2019) and want to experiment exchanges for long periods all along the year.
