House near Nottingham, Great Britain

 Our house is in a pretty village on the outskirts of Nottingham, 10 minutes walk from the countryside and the River Trent. The house is a large comfortable one with all amenities. We have three bedrooms (1 king-size with en-suite, 1 double which can be converted into twin beds and bunk beds) and two and a half bathrooms. The kitchen is a modern fully-fitted one. The living room and sun room are comfortable both with satellite TV. We also have a dvd and hi-fi. The rear garden is very private and sunny, with a colourful garden. We have a friendly cat and he likes to sit on your lap.
The village has many amenities including a small supermarket, a pharmacy, 3 pubs, 2 cafes and a coffee bar/deli and a post office. There are also two take-away food outlets. There are four large supermarkets only 2 km (1 mile) away. There is some beautiful countryside around and we are in an excellent central location for visiting many places of interest, whether city, town or country. Many places of historical interest are less than an hour and a half away.
Nottingham itself has many attractions including a large selection of all types of shops and restaurants, theatres and cinemas, cultural and sporting activities It is of course the home of Robin Hood as well as being a vibrant modern city. There are frequent buses into Nottingham from the end of our road. We are experienced exchangers over the last 35 years and have made over 40 successful exchanges in many parts of the world.
