House is ideal for walkers/hikers and is within easy reach of the mountains. It is 10 minutes drive from Lough Derg and 15 minute drive from Limerick city. There are many buildings of great historical interest e.g Glenstal Abbey, Holycross Abbey and the Rock of Cashel.

About the neighborhood
House is located on edge of village accessible to supermarket, local coffee shop and bars. A car is necessary for sight seeing as public bus service is limited . The house is surrounded by a large garden. There is easy access to walking trails & mountains.
Shannon airport is nearest airport but there is an hourly bus service from Dublin Airport & city -a journey of 2 hours +.
I would like a house where there is good public transport as I am not confident driving abroad.

Marys house is very well maintained and clean. We were able to get to know Mary personally. She fed us well in the evening and made every effort to make our stay in her house as pleasant as possible. We especially admire her for her beautiful garden, which we admired extensively. She was kind enough to let us drive her car, even though she didn't want to use ours. And once again a big thank you to her brother who drove us back to the airport. On our return, we found our flat in good condition. And Mary also took good care of our cat. Thanks again for everything!
