"One of the most beautiful cities in the world" said Lord Norman Forster, British Star Architect. Regensburg, an old Roman City with a lot of interesting things for all ages. You can go to the city center by bus in 15 minutes, Nearby our house is a landscape obervation area. So you have a beautiful look from our house in a wonderful nature. Nearby the house you will find a playground for children.
For bicycle fans you can go in five directions next to rivers. It is a Mekka for bicycles!
Every August there is a festival "Regensburger Dult". In August you also can visit the "Gäubodenfest" in Straubing. This city is half an hour away and celebrate also a festival like the Oktoberfest in Munic. That´s the second largest festival. Surround of Regensburg you find a lot of interesting points for hiking, biking, shipping and driving. Feel free to have a look at the tourist information of Regensburg!
Not far from Regensburg you can dive into the nature of the Bavarian Forest. There is a National Park with woolves, bears, and other wild animals. You will find a amazing flora and breath very fresh air.

About the neighborhood

You see the cathedral of Regensburg. It´s a Roman- gothic and neogothik building.
Here you see a view around Regensburg. River Danube Gorge. It is 30 km from our home
It´s a building constructed by the King Ludwig I. ( The grandfather ofKing Ludwig II., the most popuar king of Bavaria). It calls "Befreiungshalle" and it is about 30 km from our home. The next photo is inside of the Befreiungshalle.
Next you see the shipmuseum on the river Danube in Regensburg.
And the famous bridge "Steinerne Brücke". It´s an medieval building.
At last you see "Walhalla". It is also build by Kind Ludvwig I. to honour German honouring persons. It is about 10 km from Regensburg.
Last you see one of the most popular castles of Bavaria. It is about 2,5 hours from Regensburg, not really the neighbourhood, but you can drive it, if you want.

Een aangename ruime woning in een mooie groene omgeving. Vriendelijke gastvrije ontvangst. Het adres is in ongeveer een kwartier met de bus vanaf het station in Regensburg te bereiken. Plezierig contact onderhouden met de Intervac partners.
