House in the countryside outside Helsingborg, Sweden
The house was built 1937 and has around 180 square meters. The garden is 2600 square meters. There are totally four buildings. Lina has her former upholstery business in one of them and the two others are storage houses. The house is situated in a rural surrounding and you will not be disturbed by traffic.
The house have 4 bedrooms with totally six beds. In the living room there is also a sofa-bed. (We also have a couple of air mattresses for shorter stays from family and friends.) There are two bathrooms, one with shower and one with shower and a bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and on the terrace you will find a barbecue.
For visiting children we have a lot of Lego and a Brio train track, but NOT any other toys. We also have games including Xbox one for "rainy days". There is a computer that you can use during your stay and of course Wireless Internet access.

About the neighborhood
Our house is located in the countryside 15 km north of Helsingborg. It is surrounded by farmland although there is a small forest behind our garden. We often see deer's from our kitchen window and in the garden you can see many birds. In the surroundings you can also see foxes and other forest animals.
From Helsingborg you can take a train to Copenhagen Airport.
A bus stop is located 1 km from home and a train stop 3 km away from where you can take public transport to Helsingborg and further.

Vårt senaste byte med Lina och Pontus Gamstedt var utmärkt. Informationen på hemsidan var mycket bra och stämde väl överrens med verkligheten. De hade ordnat så fint åt oss och tänkt på vår trivsel. Allt gick så smidigt som vi hade hoppats. Huset låg fint på landet med nära access till många sevärdheter. Det var första gången vi "hade hand om" den andra familjens husdjur så vi gav mat och fick tillfälle att gosa med deras katt en hel del. Fungerade mycket bra!
Nice and quiet environment. House simple but spacious. Very friendly family.
We loved staying at the Garmstedt home. Thanks for exchanging ! The girls loved the garden and we loved the terrace ;-) Everything was fine and would be glad exchange again.

Experienced travelers
Our family consists of Lina, Pontus and our three sons Lennart (23), Ola (20) and Jesper (19). Lennart now lives in Malmö and Ola lives in Lund. Who and how many of us that come on a house exchanges varies depending on school and work.
Lina is a second generation of "Intervacer" as she also did house exchange with Intervac as a child.
We like to visit historic sites and museums om our holidays.
