About the neighborhood
The San Francisco Bay Area has many micro-climates. Our neighborhood lies just on the edge of the persistent Summer fog that is characteristic of our region. Typically we have warm sunny days followed by cool nights. We maintain a kitchen garden which offers seasonal produce. Our tomato plants bear fruit from June to November! There is a small creek across the rear of our property which attracts many species of birds (including Colibris!). The house is situated at the end of a quiet cul-du-sac. Public transportation, parks, and shopping are within short walking distance.
