Detached house in Korneuburg, Austria
We are a family of four. Our first daughter Emilia was born in May 2010 and our second daughter Paulina in August 2012. Our first exchange took us to Oregon, USA, our second one (already with Emilia) to Eslov in Sweden. In 2015 we were in Nijmegen, the Netherlands and in 2019 we went to Liencres in Spain. We enjoyed all four of them immensely
My husband and I are both teachers and we love to travel.
Our house is located in a small, nice town near Vienna. Everything you need for daily living is in walking distance. The detached house has a garden with a small pool, a living room with dining area, a bedroom with a balcony and our daughters' rooms.
To go into the city of Vienna you can either go by car which will take you about 20 minutes to the city center or by train which will take you to the city center in about 30 minutes. The train station is a 5-minute-walk from our house.

About the neighborhood
We live in an area not far away from the city center and the railway station. It is very green around our house with many gardens. The Danube is only a five-minute-walk away. It is also very nice to cylce along the Danube. Even going to Vienna on bike is an option as it only takes about an hour and a half to the city center (always on bikelanes).

We really liked the house and the area. The exchange partners were very considerate, both their house and ours on return were perfectly clean when we arrived and throughout the whole stay they were always willing to help us if any questions occured. We stayed in contact via WhatsApp and that worked perfectly.
This is a lovely peaceful home - spacious, relaxing with beautiful outdoor space. The public transport is fantastic and there are plenty of options for cycling and enjoying nature. We drove to the Wiener Alpen and also spent days in Vienna, all of which are within easy access. The communication was also great. I would highly recommend this family to exchange with.

We are a family of four with two children so you can imagine our daily routine. Our children like to play in our garden and in the playgrounds which are walking distance from our home. Both children love riding their bikes or rollerskating in front of the house. We also go shopping on foot quite often as the main square of our hometown is only 10 minutes from our home. Sometimes we also take the train to Vienna because the train station is only five minutes away.
Other things we do as a family are going to the public pool in summer, cycling along the Danube or going to "Heurigen" (where they sell home-grown wine and food) in the area. We also like hiking and travelling.
