Comfortable 2 bedroom flat in Edinburgh City centre
We are golfers, we need our golfing fix! If you live on or near a golf course especially a nice one then we'll be interested!
Stockbridge is a lovely area only 10 minute walk from Princes Street and the Old Town. There are many bars, restaurants and shops in Stockbridge and Cannonmills and the Botanic Gardens, water of Leith and Inverleith park are all within minutes of our front door.
A car is not essential in the centre of Edinburgh as the public transport links are excellent.
Our house has two bedrooms (one king size, second bedroom has one king sized bed settee), dining kitchen, shower room and living room. There is a small garden at the front, nice spot for a gin in summer.
The dining table seats 6 - 8.
There is wifi, smart TV and CD player for your use. In the kitchen there is a hob, oven, fridge freezer, slow cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
We are keen golfers so are looking to exchange anywhere there is a glut of golf courses! We are especially keen to consider swaps for weekends/long weekends in Scotland and North of England.
I have popped a variety of dates and links to sporting events in and around Edinburgh in the 'about my neighbourhood' section under 'map'.
We also have a holiday home in Andalucia in the centre of a tiny village in the mountains, which sleeps up to 6 in 4 bedrooms and I can send on information if you are interested.

About the neighborhood
Stockbridge and Cannonmills are two desirable districts a 10 minute walk from the centre of Edinburgh. Both areas have an abundance of bars and restaurants including Raeburn hotel, Scran and Scallie, Purslane, Tollhouse and Sotto.
Lannan bakery is the latest sensation with queues stretching for 50 metres and people waiting up to an hour for a nice pastry!!
The Stockbridge market is held every Sunday and has around 50 stalls selling everything from farm foods to arts and crafts. For more information on events/restaurants/ shops and markets log in to www.stockbridgeedinburgh.com for the latest on what's happening in the area.
There are plenty of takeaways too!
The Water of Leith, Inverleith park and the Botanics are a stone's throw away.
Transport: the area is well served by LRT buses with the no 36 passing by the flat linking Ocean Terminal shopping centre in Leith with The Gyle shopping centre via the West End of Princes Street. The 23 and 27 routes run nearby, again via Princes Street and the Old Town. The bus and train stations are 10 minutes walk away. As is the infamous Edinburgh tram. The airport is 8 miles away, around £30 by taxi, or the cheaper option is to take the airport bus or the tram.
