Attractive Houseboat just outside hectic Amsterdam-centre in a green part of the city.. There's a living room (12x 5 metres) 2 double bedrooms, a study and a bathroom. In total 125 square meters.There's also on the second floor a terrace (5x5 metres) overlooking the canal and a garden. There are two sheds and outside terraces on the ground floor.

About the neighborhood
We live in a green part of Amsterdam, at walking distance from the "Amsterdamse bos" the largest park in Amsterdam. And at walking distance from a lake, where you can sail & swim. There are several restaurants at walking distance. The nearest shopping area is at 5 minutes cycling/driving distance. The Rijksmuseum and Van Goghmuseum are at 15 minutes cycling or you can walk (5 minutes) to a tram stop, and take a tram there in about 10 minutes). Cycling is the fastest and easiest way to get anywhere in Amsterdam. If you're not used to cycling, a good alternative is to take a tram, which will also take you anywhere.

Hello,
Willem is a clinical psychologist & works as a psychotherapist in a private practice. He works as an independent psychotherapist for people with personality disorders. Hanneke his wife died last year after 50 years together.. Our houseboat is 15 minutes (bicycle) from the city-centre, on foot+tram it's about 25 minutes).
We made 10 successful exchanges (Sweden, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia) .
