Triplex loft in Barcelona
It is a triplex loft with all comforts for the family. On the main floor there is an open kitchen, a livingroom, a small bathroom, a big studio and a patio, on the first floor there is a big double bedroom with bathroom and on the floor below there is 2 small single bedrooms and a bath.
There is 25 minutes by bicycle from the centre of Barcelona (we have 4 bicycles for adults). It is very convenient for public transport with both bus and trains nearby. It also has very easy access to Barcelona Airport. New underground Line 9 direct from the airport to our home in 20 minutes.

About the neighborhood
Our house is 10 minutes drive from Plaça de Catalunya (Barcelona's downtown) and 20 minutes from the quiet beach of El Prat de Llobregat. A 3 minute walk there is a large shopping center (Gran Via 2) and a traditional market.
The airport is a 12 minute drive.

Appartement très original et très bien placé. Particulièrement grâce aux vélos mis à disposition, ce qui est un atout pour cette grande ville.
La communication avec Marta a été très fluide et agréable. Nous avons été accueillis par une des filles de la famille, à notre arrivée. La maison est confortable et fonctionnelle ; nous y avons apprécié la présence d'appareils de climatisation (en pleine canicule), de même que l'accès à la place de parking du logement : nous avons pu y reléguer la voiture durant tout le séjour (et n'avons pas eu à demander la vignette "pollution"). Il y a d'ailleurs quelques parkings gratuits sur la commune de L'Hospitalet. Belle proximité du métro pour permettre de re-découvrir BARCELONE (à deux stations de la place Espagna). Également commerces divers aux alentours.
The house was great & we loved Barcelona :) Lluis and Marta were very helpful. We had a great time!
Nice and welcoming family. Comfortable, tastefully decorated apartment. Nice and friendly neighborhood, close to Barcelona and the coast.

Familia catalana, respetuosa y con experiencia en intercambios
Marta (66 years old) and Lluís (68). Both are retired university librarians. Our children: Mei (27) architect, Berta (36) librarian and Manel (33) university professor in London. But they normally don't come with us in the exchanges.
