Barcelona & Vic: Two Homes, Two Ways to Discover Catalonia
We are Lluís and Marta, a retired couple from Barcelona. We love travelling, discovering new places and, above all, experiencing them through home exchange.
We have two homes to share in Catalonia: our cosy home just outside Barcelona and a second home in the beautiful town of Vic, surrounded by nature.
Our home near Barcelona:
Our bright, peaceful and welcoming triplex apartment in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, right next to Barcelona, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely private patio. It also has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, 4 bicycles and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
It is very well connected, and you can reach central Barcelona in around 25 minutes by public transport or bicycle.
We normally travel together with our 10-year-old dog, who is very calm and well behaved. We also enjoy having our children or friends come to stay with us for a few days.
Our second home in Vic:
We also have a second home in Vic (Intervac ES51811), the town where Lluís was born. It is a wonderful option if you would like to combine a few days exploring Barcelona with some time enjoying the peace, nature and local life of inland Catalonia.
For us, home exchange is a wonderful way to travel more authentically, experience places like a local and feel a little at home wherever we go. We are looking for people who will take care of our home as we would take care of theirs.

About the neighborhood
Our home is in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, just next to Barcelona. It is only a 10-minute drive from Plaça de Catalunya, in the heart of Barcelona, and around 20 minutes from the quiet beach of El Prat de Llobregat.
The area is very well connected by public transport, with metro and bus connections that make it easy to reach central Barcelona without a car.
Just a 3-minute walk away, you will find a large shopping centre (Gran Via 2), as well as a traditional local market with fresh produce and everyday essentials.
Barcelona Airport is only a 15-minute drive away, making our home especially convenient for travellers arriving or departing by plane.

La communication avec Marta a été très fluide et agréable. Nous avons été accueillis par une des filles de la famille, à notre arrivée. La maison est confortable et fonctionnelle ; nous y avons apprécié la présence d'appareils de climatisation (en pleine canicule), de même que l'accès à la place de parking du logement : nous avons pu y reléguer la voiture durant tout le séjour (et n'avons pas eu à demander la vignette "pollution"). Il y a d'ailleurs quelques parkings gratuits sur la commune de L'Hospitalet. Belle proximité du métro pour permettre de re-découvrir BARCELONE (à deux stations de la place Espagna). Également commerces divers aux alentours.
Appartement très original et très bien placé. Particulièrement grâce aux vélos mis à disposition, ce qui est un atout pour cette grande ville.
Good communication with Rick, we loved the walking distance to two beautiful beaches.

Familia catalana, respetuosa y con experiencia en intercambios
Somos Lluís y Marta, una pareja de jubilados de Barcelona. Nos encanta viajar, descubrir nuevos lugares y, sobre todo, hacerlo a través del intercambio de casas. Tenemos tres hijos y una nieta.
Ofrecemos nuestro acogedor y luminoso triplex en planta baja, situado en L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, justo al lado de Barcelona. Es un hogar tranquilo y cómodo, con 3 dormitorios, 2 baños y un bonito patio, además de aire acondicionado, wifi, 4 bicicletas y todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable.
Está muy bien comunicado y podéis llegar al centro de Barcelona en unos 25 minutos en transporte público o en bicicleta.
Normalmente viajamos juntos con nuestro perro, de 10 años, muy tranquilo y bien educado. También nos gusta que nuestros hijos o amigos puedan venir a visitarnos algunos días.
Además, tenemos una segunda vivienda en Vic (Intervac ES51811), la ciudad donde nació Lluís, que también podemos ofrecer. Si os apetece, podéis combinar unos días de Barcelona con otros de tranquilidad y naturaleza en el interior de Catalunya.
Para nosotros, el intercambio es una forma de viajar de manera más auténtica, viviendo los lugares como uno más y sintiéndose un poco como en casa. Buscamos personas que cuiden nuestro hogar como nosotros cuidaremos el suyo.
