We live in the South of Spain in Palmones, between Càdiz and Màlaga
The house is semi-detatched within an interior communal patio. There are two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a private patio and roof terrace with a solar powered shower and beautiful sea and river views. The beach, where you can relax in a pleasant beach bar which offers food and drink and beautiful sea views, is just a three minute walk from the house. Carrefour, Lidl and other large shops are also within walking distance.
Palmones is a nice, calm and safe costal town situated in the South of Spain and Andalucia in the heart of the Campo de Gibraltar, 14 KM from Africa, 15 minutes from Gibraltar and 40 minutes from Tarifa by car with equal distance to Estepona which is just 10 minutes from Marbella on the Costa del Sol. About the neighborhood
Palmones is a nice, calm and safe costal town situated in the South of Spain and Andalucia in the heart of the Campo de Gibraltar, 14 KM from Africa, 15 minutes from Gibraltar and 40 minutes from Tarifa by car with equal distance from Estepona which is just 10 minutes from Marbella on the Costa del Sol. It is a gastronomic centre to which people from nearby cities visit frequently to enjoy its restaurants, sun and beach.
It is also a priviledged place to observe bird migration as the town lies on a river bed, the other side of the river bed consisting of more marismas and a protected natural park.
If you decide to come you won´t get bored. A visit to the castle of Castellar, Jimena, Ronda, Gaucín, Vejer as well as the beaches of Barbate and Coníl is a must. If one day you feel like going further afield, you could take a trip to Cádiz, Sevilla, Málaga or Granada.

We did not exchange, but the Ruiz family stayed in our place while we were on holiday visiting my brother in Vancouver.
Su casa venía bien reflejada y la relación fue excelente. Realizamos actividades juntos, nos enseñó y acompañó a sitios y lugares de su ciudad . Encantadores. Estamos muy satisfechos.
A parceira foi sempre muito simpática e disponível; não pôs obstáculos a nada. A casa tinha áreas ótimas, ficava num bom condomínio, era muito bem situada e adorámos a cidade. Poderia estar mais limpa, mas como é uma situação provisória, não ligámos tanto a isso.
Un très beau séjour en famille tout au sud de l'Espagne. Palmones est un petit village de pêcheurs caché à l'embouchure... Face au rocher de Gibraltar, les marais se jettent dans la mer, les énormes portes conteneurs croisent à l'embouchure. Plage de sable, petit village charmant et typique, de très belles découvertes ! La maison de Ireneo est un musée recouvert de ses incroyables peintures. La terrasse de toit est un lieu à la vue splendide, avec sa douche de plein air et la terrasse du rez-de-chaussée recouverte de végétation un havre de fraîcheur bienvenu.
