Nestled in a tranquil cul-de-sac and surrounded by Canada’s second-largest urban park, our spacious family home offers the perfect mix of city convenience and nature’s charm. Stretching 19 km (12 mi) across the city, the park is right on our doorstep, and it’s not unusual to spot deer, squirrels, and other wildlife roaming the yard and neighborhood.
Our 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom home provides plenty of space for your entire group. The open-concept layout includes two cozy living rooms, a large dining area, and a central kitchen designed for gatherings. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or taking advantage of easy access to the park, this peaceful spot is ideal for families looking for comfort and adventure.
We offer a mini-van that seats 7 people for exchange.

About the neighborhood
We live in Woodlands Community in the SouthWest quadrant of the city. We live next to Fish Creek Provincial Park, the second largest urban park in Canada. Just walk out our front door and you're in the park. Our neighbors are welcoming and friendly. We are about 1 km from the nearest grocery store.
We are about 1 1/2 hour drive to Banff National Park. Kananaskis Country is a park system situated to the west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada in the foothills and front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. It is approximately a 30 minute drive from our home. We are also close to Drumheller, a unique landscape full of hoodoos and famous for dinosaur fossils. Here you can visit the Royal Tyrrell Museum
The City of Calgary is a vibrant city with lots to do and explore. The Calgary Stampede is July 6th - 15th in 2018. Calgary, a cosmopolitan Albertan city, offers many easy day trips to destinations such as the world renown city of Banff. Climb the Calgary tower, visit the Panda Exhibition at the Calgary Zoo, explore Kananaskis wilderness area or fish on the Bow River.

This was a short exchange between two cities in the same province - just a long weekend. The house was very much what we'd been led to expect - it is very near a beautiful nature area, Fish Creek Park. Communication was excellent and we would happily exchange with this family again.
Wonderful contact with the family. The house in Calgary was very comfortable, in the nice place. Calgary - a very interesting modern city. Near to the Rocky Mountains. We had great holidays!
Rebecca and Martin are the loveliest, warmest hosts. Your house is wonderful, very big, in a super great environment. We were also allowed to use a house that is in the Rockymountains and belongs to family members! An exciting, unbelievably beautiful exchange!

We have walked on the Great Wall of China, climbed the Eiffel Tower in Paris, toured the Colosseum in Rome, surfed in Costa Rica and more.
