House in the Loire Castle valley
Recent house located in the heart of the Loire Valley in a village, peaceful neighborhood, 3 bedrooms + office with sofa bed, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen open to living room, garage and enclosed garden of 400m².
The house was built in 2013 and is a BBC house (building low consumption), entirely equipped.
The village of La Croix en Touraine is at the edge of the Cher river, next to the small town of Bléré and not far from Amboiseand its famous castle.
We are at 5 minutes from Château d'Amboise, Château de Chenonceau, the Mini Châteaux Park and Clos Lucé (last home of Leonardo da Vinci).
Aquarium of Touraine at 15 min, Beauval Zoo at 45 min and Tours at 30 min.
Closest castles: Chambord, Azay-le-Rideau, Loches, Langeais, Chaumont sur Loire ...
Numerous famous monuments to visit in the Region, possibility of hiking and biking (circuits along the Loire), canoeing, hot air ballooning, wine region with possibility of cellar visits (Vouvray, Chinon, Montlouis, Saumur Champigny, ... ).

About the neighborhood
The village of La Croix en Touraine is at the edge of the Cher river, next to the small town of Bléré and 2 steps from the city of Amboise and its famous castle.
Accessible by highway (Bléré exit at 9 min.) or by train (Bléré / La Croix train station, TGV train station at 25 min.).
There is a small airport in Tours (30 km) and international airports in Paris (250 km).

tout correspond à ce qui est écrit. Nos hôtes avaient préparé beaucoup de places dans leurs armoires et penderies afin que nous puissions déposer nos affaires...ce qui devient très rare. Bon repas tout prêt à notre arrivée, petit cadeau de bienvenue avec des spécialités locales ( ce qui était une habitude mais qui devient aussi fort rare...)Position très intéressante de la maison qui permet d'arriver à pieds au château de Chenonceau et de faire pas mal de courses à pied. Fauteuils de jardin,maison claire, lumineuse et très propre. Nous recommandons vraiment un échange avec cette famille très sympa qui est vraiment dans l'esprit d'Intervac comme nous le connaissions quand nous avons commencé les échanges dans les années 80. De plus nous avons trouvé une maison impeccable à notre retour.
Very nice modern house in the middle of the Loire valley, perfect for exploring the area. Welcoming family who made our stay very pleasant.

We are a couple with two children aged 13 and 10 and a very affectionate cat named Filou. We love traveling and discovering new countries and cultures. We particularly enjoy spending time outdoors (hiking, sports, city tours, etc.), sharing good meals, and experiencing cultural activities (concerts, reading, museum visits, etc.).
