The flat is located at Grefsen, a friendly residential area, where urban areas, forests and waterways are all within walking distance.
The flat that was renovated in 2017 occupies the entire upper floor in a wooden villa from 1948. The first floor is inhabited by younger family members, a couple with two boys age 11 and 13. When at home, they will gladly answer any questions you may have. The two flats are otherwise completely separated.
The flat has two bedrooms, one bathroom and an open kitchen living area. There is direct access to a private balcony that is shielded from view. From the balcony you can see the large forests that surrounds Oslo as well as the distant profile of the famous Holmenkollen ski-jump.

We are a recently retired couple. Beate is educated as a teacher, but in the last part of her career she was working for the Norwegian state to make and implement educational programs for adult immigrants. Espen has worked with design and architecture which also includes teaching at the three Norwegian architecture universities.
We spend most of our time together, but have separate apartments at different locations in Oslo.
Beate has two adult sons and Espen has a daughter. We are both proud grandparents.
We are interested in history, industrial history in particular, art, architecture and photography, languages, politics and sociology. And Espen loves dogs.
