About the neighborhood
We live in the residential neighbourhood known locally as the “South End”, which is close to the local hospitals and universities. The home is located on a quiet street within a 15-20 minute walk of many restaurants, the boardwalk along the ocean, The Halifax Public Gardens, and beautiful Point Pleasant Park. You will be 100 metres away from public transportation and parking for two cars is available.
The city of Halifax is known for being a friendly, walkable, and historic city. Highlights include the Citadel National Historic Site, the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, the Canadian Museum of Immigration, the waterfront boardwalk, and the Halifax Seaport Market which is the longest continuously operating farmer’s market in North America. If the timing is right, you may get to enjoy one of Halifax’s many cultural festivals. Within 30 minutes you can drive to on one of our picturesque beaches or hike in pristine wilderness.

We are a family of five with three teenagers and much loved dog. The kids are very active with sports. We love to travel when our schedules allow. We love experiencing new places, cultures, languages and food.
