Summer chalet in eastern Cantabria village close to beaches
Beautiful holiday chalet, built in 1995, located in the village of Liendo (Cantabria). Located midway between Bilbao and Santander (50 Kms), the closest major town is Laredo (10 Km) with its 4 Km sandy beach. The house sits in a a 600 square m. beautiful garden and has two stories. The first story has a living/dining room, kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom. The second story has two double bedrooms and one bathroom, The garden has two terraces on the front and back whhich are ideal for outdoor meals in the summer.
Tha house is equipped with all modern appliances (TV, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, etc.) plus a barbecue. There are also several bycicles in reasonable shape to move around the valley.

Nærmeste flyplass: Bilbao and Santander - 50 Kms
Liendo is a 1400 pax picturesque village which sits in a valley enclosed beyween hills, peaks and the sea. It's the perfect location for a great northern Spain holiday, away from the Meditarrenan heat! The valley is flat and easily accesible by bike, we can provide bicycles to move around. The neighbourhool is quiet, a mixture of family holiday homes, grand Indiano villas and rural homes. In August you may enjoy the local festival. There are restaurants and shops for the essentials although I would recommend Laredo (10 Kms away) for shopping.
Depending on your interests, you may find lots of things to do. Liendo is the perfect location from which to explore wonderful Cantabria and the Bilbao area, full of great cultural landmarks. If you like the mountains and hiking, there are plenty of routes that start from Liendo or elsewhere with fantastic scenery. And finally, wonderful sandy beaches that you can easily reach, you can even surf in many of them finding many surf schools that provide lessons and the equipment. Or you can just relax in our garden!
Liendo is also a perfect location for this summer's complete solar eclipse (evening of 12 August), see image attached!

Familepresentasjonstekst
We are a family of three: Javier (51), widower, Gecho (20) and Shewa (18). I originally am from Bilbao but we live in Madrid. We spend summers at Liendo in our family house owned by my retired parents, who live in Bilbao but move to Liendo for late spring, summer and early fall in Liendo. We enjoy outdoor life, travelling and getting to know new places. This is our first experience with INTERVAC, but my parents have exchanged their home (Liendo and previous one) five times since 1990, always to great success and enjoying the experience.
