That´s who we are: A familiy with 3 girls at the age oft 15, 19 and 21 years with their father (52) and mother (49), both teachers in special needs education. We like to learn to know new parts of the world.
We live in an old "1927-Bauhaus-Style-House" which was renovated a few year ago. The neighbourhood is very kind. Lots of children live in the houses around. The quarter seems to be like a little village in the middle of Aachen (with abourt 250 000 inhabitants). It´s a 15 min. walk to the centre of the city with the cathedral (UNESCO Heritage) museums and the "Thermal springs". There are nice shopping opportunities.
In the Euregio around you can reach in about 10 minutes Belgium (Spa, Eupen, Verviers, Liege 30 min.) and the Netherlands (Maastricht, Heerlen, Kerkrade, Landgraaf 30 min.) by car, bus or train. There also exists a fantastic network of bike routes. The "Nationalpark Eifel" with his little mountains, rivers, lakes and large forests invites you for walks and more. The big german towns Cologne, Bonn and Düsseldorf could be reached in more or less than 50 min. (by train or car).

Quiet place - 20 minutes walking distance to the city center. 5 min. walk to the small suburb-village-center and also close to the public pool, zoo and the forests.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment à Aachen, la maison était très jolie et confortable, conforme à ce qui était présenté dans l'annonce. Les voisins sont venus nous voir pour partager un moment avec eux. C'était très plaisant de pouvoir nous rendre en centre ville à vélo depuis la maison. Nous retournerions volontiers à Aachen l'été.
