Bright and cosy top floor apartment in central Copenhagen
We are looking for a easter swap in march-april 2026 and proposal for summer 2026.
We offer a bright and cosy 132 sqm. apartment facing south in a quiet yet central part of Copenhagen. 3 bedrooms perfect for a family with 1-3 kids or for 2 couples. In total the apartment sleeps 5 persons and eventually 6 with one person at a sofa
The house is build in 1881, and the apartment has all modern commodities, still respecting the classic design.
The apartment is situated in central Copenhagen (Frederiksberg) in a quiet neighborhood, close to a botanical park, metro-station, restaurants and shops. The backyard is a big secluded garden with barbecue, playgrounds and a sports field. We have toys for playing in the yard.
There is 15 min. walk or 5 min. by bus or metro to Copenhagen city center, the old amusement park "Tivoli Gardens", pedestrian streets, museums and other interesting sights.
Copenhagen is a lively and beautiful historic town, founded around 800 AC. It has an efficient public transport system and is one of the best towns in the world for bicycling. Copenhagen has a lively atmosphere, friendly citizens, loads of places explore, excellent restaurants and many parks for relaxation or playing. You can even swim in the Copenhagen harbour in secured "pools".
In 20 min. by Metro You will be at the beach or in open nature. 25 min. to the CPH airport and 40 min. by train via the bridge to neighboring Swedish city Malmö.
We offer a car and some bikes in exchange.
We are experienced exchangers, as we have done several swaps through both Intervac and Homelink.

About the neighborhood
Our house is a typical historic townhouse build during the industrialization period in 1881. The house is situated on a quiet side-street in the central Copenhagen neighborhood Frederiksberg.
It is close to public transport, shops, supermarkets and all of the attractions of central Copenhagen.
The building is very well kept and has new windows and roof.

Staying at Søren and Saras place totally exceeded our expectations. The flat was gorgeous with a great location in central Copenhagen. The communication in the period before the exchange was also very good. Clear and understandable. Søren helped us out with extra bikes for all our family members, which was very much appreciated. And of course, Copenhagen didn’t disappoint us - that city has so much to offer and we could easily have stayed many more weeks. For us this was our first exchange experience, and we could not have asked for a better debute. Thank you!

We are a couple (60 & 67) with two grown up daughters (23 & 28) that sometimes wants to travel with us :-) and to bring their boyfriends. So we could be 6 persons in all. But maybe less.
We love traveling and exploring new places and culture. We also love to walk, bike and to explore nature, art, architecture and historic places. We have done numerous exchanges, mainly in Europe, but also in the USA and Canada.
