Cádiz, Spania

We are a family of four and we have had wonderful experiences exchanging our home.
Our spacious house (140 m2) is located in the newer area of Cadiz, just a 10-minute stroll from the charming historic center and in close proximity to the sea. It has got two bathrooms, one with a shower, a comfortable living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and three bedrooms and a studio. Our house is air-conditioned, has Wi-Fi, and we offer the use of our computer. You will also have access to a convenient parking spot.

Our home is situated in a peaceful, well-equipped neighborhood with excellent access to public transportation, including bus stops, taxis, and trains. There are plenty of shops and bars and restaurants, where you can enjoy the famous local tapas, as well as numerous playgrounds. The stunning 7 km beach of Cádiz is just a stone's throw away, and if you're a fan of water sports, you can easily find marinas, surfing or sailing schools nearby. Golf enthusiasts will also find courses within a 20-minute drive.

Cádiz is known for its rich cultural heritage and fascinating history dating back over 3000 years, as it was founded by the Phoenicians. It retains its unique charm and historical legacy, especially from its important role in trade with South America during the 18th century. A bustling and cosmopolitan city, Cádiz is also the birthplace of the first Spanish constitution in 1812.

If you're interested in exploring the surrounding areas, there are many charming places worth visiting, such as the beautiful beaches of Conil, Vejer, Barbate,Tarifa, and Rota, as well as the picturesque mountain villages of Grazalema, Setenil, Arcos, Jerez, and Medina. Nature lovers will appreciate the two natural parks nearby, the Doñana Park and the Alcornocales Park. We are more than happy to offer advice on where to visit!

And if you feel like to know Andalucía, you'll be pleased to know that Sevilla is just an hour and fifteen minutes away, while the beautiful Mezquita of Córdoba is just two and a half hours away. And of course, the world-famous Alhambra of Granada is only three and a half hours away. We would be more than happy to offer tips and recommendations to help you plan your trip!

Somos una familia de cuatro miembros y hemos tenido experiencias maravillosas intercambiando nuestra casa.
Nuestra espaciosa casa (140 m2) está situada en la zona más nueva de Cádiz, a sólo 10 minutos a pie del encantador centro histórico y muy cerca del mar. Tiene dos cuartos de baño, uno con ducha, un cómodo salón, una cocina totalmente equipada, un comedor, y tres dormitorios y un estudio. Nuestra casa tiene aire acondicionado, Wi-Fi, y un ordenador a vuestra disposición. También ofrecemos acceso a una plaza de aparcamiento justo al lado de nuestro bloque.

Nuestra casa está situada en un barrio tranquilo y bien equipado, con excelente acceso al transporte público, incluyendo paradas de autobús, taxis y trenes. Hay un montón de tiendas y bares y restaurantes, donde poder disfrutar de las famosas tapas locales, así como numerosos parques infantiles. La fantástica playa de Cádiz, de 7 km, está a tiro de piedra, y si es aficionado a los deportes acuáticos, encontrará fácilmente puertos deportivos y escuelas de surf o vela en las cercanías. Los aficionados al golf también encontrarán campos a 20 minutos en coche.

Cádiz es conocida por su rico patrimonio cultural y su fascinante historia que se remonta a más de 3000 años, ya que fue fundada por los fenicios. Conserva su encanto único y su legado histórico, especialmente por su importante papel en el comercio con Sudamérica durante el siglo XVIII. Ciudad bulliciosa y cosmopolita, Cádiz es también la cuna de la primera Constitución española en 1812.

Si le interesa explorar los alrededores, hay muchos lugares con encanto que merece la pena visitar, como las hermosas playas de Conil, Vejer, Barbate,Tarifa y Rota, así como los pintorescos pueblos de la sierra Grazalema, Setenil, Arcos, Jerez y Medina. Los amantes de la naturaleza apreciarán los dos parques naturales cercanos, el Parque de Doñana y el Parque de los Alcornocales.

Si te interesa explorar Andalucía, Sevilla está a sólo una hora y cuarto, mientras que la preciosa Mezquita de Córdoba se encuentra a dos horas y media. Y, por supuesto, Granada (con su Alhambra) está a sólo tres horas y media.
