Welcome to our home! We are Anna, Alejandro, Martí & Pau, and Lluna (“Moon”), our sweet and affectionate cat.
Our bright and cozy home is nestled next to the beautiful Natural Park of "El Montseny." It’s a one-level house (except for Alejandro’s upstairs office) filled with sunlight and warmth, offering a perfect retreat after exploring the bustling streets of Barcelona. Situated in Llerona, between Granollers and La Garriga, our home is ideally located with excellent transport links, just a 30-minute train ride to Catalunya Square. You'll also find the beach, the mountains, and many tourist attractions close by.
Across the street, you’ll find a wonderful tennis club with a large swimming pool that you’re welcome to use—perfect for cooling off and enjoying some leisure time! Back home, our spacious garden offers a playground for children (with a swing, slide, playhouse, trampoline, and sandpit) and a barbecue area for al fresco dining.
Inside, we have a double bedroom, three single bedrooms, Anna’s music studio, and Alejandro’s office. Our bright living room features a fireplace, cable TV (with Netflix and Amazon Prime), and plenty of space to relax. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, from a dishwasher to a microwave. For families with kids, we provide all the essentials—cots, a buggy, toys, and more.
Our home is filled with books, artworks, and a touch of charm that reflects our love for music and creativity. With over a decade of house exchange experience through INTERVAC, we look forward to welcoming you and ensuring your stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible!

About La Garriga:
La Garriga is a town brimming with heritage and places of interest. You can find prominent archeological sites such as the Roman villa in Can Terrers or a Civil Guard aviation field, as well a variety of architectural features such as medieval castles, churches and chapels from every period, and of course the best examples around of Modernist houses.
However, you can also find a wonderful natural rural environment offering walks and excursions to take you far away from the bustle of the city and find a kind of peace and tranquility hard to come by these days.

Awesome house! We had such a great stay here. The house is perfectly located in the beautiful city of Utrecht, close enough to everything but still in a quiet and pleasant area. Inside, everything was tidy, spotless, and felt very new and cozy. It’s a super comfortable home with everything we could possibly need, which made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. The family was incredibly kind, respectful, and easy to communicate with. They really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, even leaving us a list of recommendations with lots of great things to see and do in the city. That personal touch made our trip even more special, as we got to discover places we wouldn’t have found otherwise. In every way, this was a 10/10 experience. We’d happily stay here again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Utrecht!
La casa es maravillosa: muy nueva, bien cuidada, decorada con gusto y extremadamente funcional. La piscina es un verdadero lujo en verano, perfecta para refrescarse y disfrutar, tanto si viajas con niños como si no. Además, hay bicicletas disponibles en excelente estado, ideales para recorrer la zona, que es espectacular para explorar en bici, especialmente por los maravillosos caminos que bordean el río. Adele y Charles son anfitriones excepcionales. Tuvimos un contacto inicial por videollamada y, durante la estancia, estuvieron siempre atentos a nuestras dudas y nos sugirieron actividades. Vinieron 7 personas, entre abuelos, padres y niños, y se encargaron de cuidar todo de manera impecable. Ha sido un placer hacer intercambios con familias como la suya.
Cet échange s'est très bien déroulé. La maison était conforme à la description, Alejandro et Anna ont été très disponibles pour de nombreux conseils et très attentionnés. Nous avons retrouvé notre maison comme nous l'avions laissé à notre retour. La maison d' Alejandro et Anna est bien situé, près de Barcelone et de la mer, mais également près des montagnes. Un très bel échange.
The house, the surroundings, and the family are outstanding. The house is perfect for traveling with children, as it is filled with toys and music. It also has everything you need. The area is amazing, boasting plenty of nature, cultural attractions to visit, and the chaos of the city whenever you desire it. At one point, we accidentally locked the keys inside the house, and the response on how to solve the problem was incredibly swift. It was probably our best Intervac experience. Thank you, Elisabeth and family!

We are Anna (Music teacher and Cellist), Alejandro (PhD Hydrogeologist engineer), Martí (a inquisitive baby) and our cat Bruixot (“The Wizard”), who we would like our house exchange guests to feed him while we are away.
