Large house with garden in western Göteborg, Sweden
We have agreed an exchange for summer 2024. We are also open for a shorter exchange during school breaks ( fall break week 44 or Easter 2025). Also open for a 2 weeks exchange summer 2025.
Our home is a large house with a garden. It has two floors and four good sized bedrooms. It has a large living room also containing a large table that easily seats 10-12 people. The second living room is downstairs and has a large sofa (that can be turned into a double bed), TV and fire place. There are two bathrooms, two separate toilets, a sauna and a room with washing machine, dryer etc.
The neighbourhood is calm and nice and there is a playground just 100 m from the house. The garden is private and there is a terrace and a barbecue for your disposal. The sea is a short drive, cycle or tram ride away. Frölunda Torg shopping mall is 10 min by bus and the centre of Gothenburg can be reached by public transportation in 20 min.

About the neighborhood
Gothenburg is found on the west coast of Sweden, right in the heart of Scandinavia. The city has got plenty to offer – with lots of great shopping, a flourishing restaurant scene and the stunning archipelago just around the corner. There are plenty of museums, the amusement park of Liseberg, parks and other nice places to explore.
Our home is located in Långedrag to the west of Gothenburg, only a short drive or 10 minutes with the bus to the centre of Gothenburg. In Långedrag you will find beautiful areas for walking by the water, some nice restaurants and the archipelago is not far away.

Excellent échange avec la famille de Karin, dans l’esprit d’Intervac, avec le souci d’un bon accueil et l’ouverture aux autres! Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Göteborg. L’archipel est magnifique. La maison est conforme aux descriptifs, spacieuse, agréable, dans un quartier calme. Karin nous a donnés de précieux conseils sur les lieux à visiter aux alentours, avec des adresses utiles pour le quotidien. La communication a été très facile et fluide, Karin a toujours été réactive en cas de besoin. À notre retour, aucun problème concernant la maison ou la voiture.
Very nice appartment in a good location. The family was very welcoming and provided information and material for a great vacation.
They are a very nice and helpful family, they did more than was necessary to help. The house is spacious, very clean and tidy, with an incredible garden, well situated in a quiet neighbourhood.

We are five in our family, Karin who is a marketing and communications director at a global consultacy firm, Richard who is a product owner at a large bank and our three daughters. We have no animals as we have allergies in the family. We love to travel and would very much like to experience new adventures together!
