Flat in Wilhelminian building in Berlin-Schöneberg
Our spacious flat is situated in the second floor of a typical wilhelminian building with fantastic views and very helpful neighbors.
We live in a very quiet street of Schöneberg, with a lot of little shops, restaurants, delis, cafes and playgrounds just around the corner (Akazienstrasse, Goltzstrasse).
There is a big and nice public indoor swimming pool just around the corner and there is a flea market every weekend.
We offer bikes that take you to Kreuzberg, Potsdamer Platz or Gleisdreieck park in less than 15 minutes.
There is an S-Bahn around the corner to Potsdam and all the Prussian Royal castles and parks.
Unsere Wohnung liegt in einem typischen Berliner Altbau im Vorderhaus in der zweiten Etage.
Das tollste an dem Haus sind die fantastischen Nachbarn und die tolle Lage: in unserer Straße ist es ruhig, aber in der Akazienstraße (Parallelstraße) findet man viele kleine Geschäfte, Feinkostläden und Cafés.
Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl hier und haben viel Platz mit unseren zwei Kindern.
Im Viertel kann man alles zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad erledigen, Spielplätze und Parks sind ebenfalls in der direkten Umgebung, ebenso ein Schwimmbad.
Die S Bahn nach Potsdam mit seinen königlichen Schlössern und Gärten ist ca in 6 Minuten zu erreichen.

About the neighborhood
Schöneberg ist ein lebendiges Berliner Viertel mit netten Restaurants, Cafés und kleinen Läden. Es gibt Supermärkte und auch spezielle Feinkostgeschäfte in der Akazienstraße und Hauptstraße.
Das Viertel ist Familienfreundlich, es gibt mehrere tolle Spielplätze um die Ecke.
Der Volkspark Schöneberg ist toll zum Spazierengehen und Picknicken und das Stadtbad Schöneberg ist ein Indoorschwimmbad mit einer supertollen Rutsche.
Das Rathaus Schöneberg, an dem J.F. Kennedy seine berühmte Rede hielt, ist zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Die U-Bahn ist 100 m entfernt, Bus und S-Bahn ca 500 m, aber auch Fahrradfahren macht viel Spaß in Berlin!
Schöneberg is a lively quarter with lots of nice restaurants, Cafes and little shops. There are supermarkets and special Delis in Akazienstraße and Hauptstraße.
Our area ist family-friendly, there are various great playgrounds around the corner.
Its nice to stroll around the park called Volkspark Schöneberg and there is a nice indoor pool called Stadtbad Schöneberg with an extraordinary slide!
The former city hall of West Berlin is in walking distance, the place, where J.F. Kennedy held his famous speech.
The tube is about 100 m away, buses and S-Bahn are about 500 m from home, but cycling within Berlin is lot of fun!

A spacious and artsy flat where you‘ll feel right at home. And this corner of Berlin is full of cafés, restaurants, little shops and there are farmers markets and flea markets — so it‘s just perfect so spend some days or weeks here. We felt very welcomed and recommend this appartment and the family very warmly.

We had a great swap experience with Rut and Stefan. The communication was super easy, everything went perfectly well. Th!eir flat was very comfortable with a nice terrace, as we can see on their pictures. The neighborhood was very nice and calm. We had a wonderful stay by them in Berlin. And it was a pleasure to meet them too.

Wir sind eine Familie mit 2 Kindern (18 und 20 Jahre alt), wir leben gerne in Berlin und lieben es, mit dem Fahrrad zu fahren. Fahrräder können wir gerne zur Verfügung stellen.
Im Sommer sind wir an heißen Tagen an einem der vielen Seen um und in Berlin, auf dem Tempelhofer Feld zum Grillen, im Park am Gleisdreieck oder in einem der vielen Ausstellungen / Museen.
Wir mögen sehr gerne Musik, es gibt auch einige Instrumente in unserer Wohnung, die benutzt werden dürfen: ein Klavier, eine Gitarre und ein Cajon.
