Quiet mature neighbourhood, within easy walking distance of many shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs. House located directly across the road from sandy beach, around the corner from Claddagh, and on the Salthill promenade. Just 10-15 minutes walk to historical city centre with famed Spanish Arch, St Nicholas Church, beautiful cobbled streets, museum and theatres. The city is within easy reach of beautiful Connemara, the Burren and the Aran Islands is well worth a day trip.
Shannon and Knock Airports are 90km/1h15 away, Dublin Port ferry terminal is 2h30, Cork ferry terminal about 3h.

We are an Irish family - Mom, Dad and 3 teenage/preteen girls. We are sociable, very involved in local sports (gaelic football, hockey, rowing, etc.) and love hosting family/friend gatherings. As a family we have travelled in recent years to Wales, Denmark, France and London, and 2025 marked our first exchange with Intervac, and are we hooked on this way of travelling! We are very excited for another adventure. We are keen to expose our children to as many cultures, cuisines and experiences in other countries as possible. However, for the coming year, we are keen to return to France or a French-speaking country. Many thanks.
