Boechout, Belgia

Boechout is a green and lively village with lots of walking- and cycling options.

It is centrally located and close to the city of Antwerp (less than 10 minutes by train), Mechelen and Lier. We're located on Hovesesteenweg, which is a street that connects the city centre of Boechout with the centre of Hove. Both villages have a train station that is a 15 minutes walk from our home. If you want to visit the sea side or the hilly south of Belgium, called 'de Ardennen', you need less than two hours by car.

Restaurants, cafés, grocerie stores, bakeries and banc within walking distance.
In summer, by the end of july, there is a 4 days free world music festival in our village called 'Sfinks'.

Our house can host up to 5 persons.
The apartment on the second floor has all it takes for a cosy stay with your family or friends, with space for 3 persons. The room is spacious and has the feeling of a small loft. The open space has a large kitchen, eating area, acces to the suncovered rooftop terrace and a sleeping area with a queen size bed. Separate bedroom with single bed and working space. Bathroom (guests only) with shower, toilet and sink. Suncovered rooftop terrace overlooking the garden, all on the second floor.
On the first floor there is another kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom with double bed and a terrace facing the garden. On the ground floor there is acces to the garden.
For non simultaneous exchange you can stay in the apartment on the second floor.

Our home can easlily be reached by public transportation. There is a bus stop in our street. You can reach the train station on foot. The exit from the highway is about 15 minutes by car from out home. You can park your car in the surrounding streets. Might you catch a parking spot in front of the smaller houses opposite of our house, next to the road, you can leave your car there for free and safe. Rental bikes, both Blue-Bike and Donkey Republic, can be found near the railway station of Boechout.
