Cosy flat in the hearth of Florence
My apartment is located in the very heart of Florence’s historic city center, on the first floor of a fifteenth-century building. It is small yet very cozy. Although it serves as a second home, we have lived in it, so it is fully equipped for every daily need you might have.
Located in the Oltrarno district, between the neighborhoods of Santo Spirito and San Frediano, the flat is ideally positioned. It is 15 minutes from Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, and the central train station; 10 minutes from Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio; and only 5 minutes from Santo Spirito. In the neighborhood, you can find all the necessary shops and services—from grocery stores to small restaurants and artisan shops.

Hi, we are Francesco (born and raised in Florence, where my family still lives) and Marta (from Toledo, Spain). We have a two-year-old daughter and another one born in March 2025. We have lived in Sweden, Israel, and the Netherlands before finally settling in Spain.
I'm an agricultural engineer and I work on sustainable development projects. My wife, Marta, is an expert in sustainable water management.
I (Francesco) did many exchanges with my parents 30 years ago (with Intervac), back when there was no internet and we had to communicate by fax and choose houses from a paper catalog. I have incredible memories from that time! Now I'd love to experience something similar with my own family.
